Windows Vista logoWindows Vista SP1 review

Although I'm late to the party in reviewing Windows Vista SP1, it's becoming widely available as I write this, so now is as good a time as any for my review.  Rather than try to cover every improvement in SP1, I'm going to cover my particular experiences.  Read my review.

Using Firefox 3 Beta 5 as my default browser Print E-mail

I've been holding off on using Firefox 3 as my everyday browser because I really like several extensions that won't install on FF3.  I went looking for and eventually a workaround for installing these extensions and then wrote an article about it.  I've been using FF3 all morning and so far it's worked flawlessly.  I haven't seen any stability problems and it seems to work fine with Joomla's Javascript heavy back-end.  Firefox 3 is as fast or faster than Firefox 2 and is a little less memory hungry, as I wrote in another article on Firefox 3 Beta 4.  I'll report back here on any problems I have, especially if I'm forced back to Firefox 2 for any reason.  So far, so good.
